"TitaCeran" uses titanium oxide as a catalyst to decompose viruses and other germs. It is developed utilizing photocatalytic technology.

After sufficiently crushing TitaCeran in a mortar, a 1% suspension was prepared in PBS. About 300,000 viruses were mixed with a 1% TitaCeran suspension in 30 minutes to remove about 297,000 viruses.

Test operation

The virus was mixed with 0.9 ml of 1% TitaCeran® PBS and mixed with a rotator.
After 0, 5, 15, and 30 minutes, sampling was performed, and after 5 minutes of centrifugation at 10,000 rpm, the amount of virus in the supernatant was measured.
The viral load in the supernatant was measured using MDCK cells with a 50% infectious titer (TCID50: Tissue Culture Infectious Dose 50%).

In all of the solutions in which TitaCeran (1 g / L) was dissolved, a decrease in the number of bacteria was confirmed.In artificial seawater, about 10,000,000 bacteria were eliminated early (within 24 hours).

Test operation

100 μl of the pre-cultured and washed cells were inoculated into a 10 ml test tube. The TitaCeran solution was placed in a 10 ml test tube from the beginning, and the inoculation time was set to 0 day, 24 hours later to 1 day, and then to 2,3,5,7 days. The number of bacteria was counted by the MPN method after inoculating a microplate. After culturing the plate at 37 ° C. for 48 hours, the number of bacteria was calculated from the MPN table.


Norovirus decomposition experiment


As a result of measuring the virus infection titer after 30 minutes and 6 hours, no virus was detected in the sample (this product: TitaCeran) after 30 minutes.

The technology used in this product solves various problems that were impossible with conventional photocatalysts.

Conventional photocatalysts have been limited in their use because organic materials such as fibers and plastics decompose themselves when used. On the other hand, since the surface of this product does not have photocatalytic activity, decomposition of organic materials is suppressed, and it can be used for fibers, plastics, paper, etc.

When this product was mixed with resin and subjected to a durability (deterioration) test of the resin, the weight loss rate of the resin was smaller than that of the conventional photocatalyst, and the resin deterioration was suppressed to less than 1/5.



Can be used indoors or in cars with little UV light


With conventional technology, it is possible to respond to indoor light (fluorescent lamps, LEDs, etc.) with less ultraviolet light, which was difficult to achieve.

There is little outdoor light (natural light), and it can be effective indoors and in the office.


The decomposition performance of acetaldehyde derived from automobile exhaust, cigarette smoke, plywood adhesive, etc. is 5.9 times higher than that of conventional photocatalysts that do not respond to visible light with respect to fluorescent light.

Furthermore, not only visible light but also ultraviolet light decomposition performance has been greatly improved.


It was also confirmed that acetaldehyde was completely oxidatively decomposed into carbon dioxide and water.


Excellent antibacterial effect has been demonstrated under white fluorescent lighting. The number of bacteria decreased to nearly 100,000 after 8 hours. Calculations from this measurement have demonstrated greater than 99% removal.

If there is dirt, remove it in advance. Spray this solution on the part where you are concerned about the odor. If the amount of spray is too large, wipe it off with a cloth. Ventilate and dry to complete.
